| That maybe true, but it's equally a crime rich or poor. No it is a bad idea. Lets say you are 18 and there are no jobs. You go to collect welfare but are denied because you are not handicapped, and the government official says" Well you can prostitute yourself.". Now this is a crazy idea right? but who knows in the future they may see prostitution as being normal source of employment. Now lets say things in your new profession are slowing down due to your age, clients just don't find you as attractive as they once did. So you try to collect unemployment to supplement your income. Well one the of the questions on the unemployment application is did you refuse work. Now keep that in mind for a moment. Let's say your a petite man or woman and someone who's well endowed wants to have sex with you, but you know if you have any kind of "sexual insertion", that this person will rip your insides in half. You can't refuse work when trying to collect unemployment, and this would be a violation of that agreement. Now your a criminal for not prostituting your self, imagine that. See people like to think in one dimension. They like to think "Well people should be allowed to do what they want with their bodies, it doesn't hurt anyone." doesn't it? But do you think it would stop at one persons choice, the prostitute? You would be VERY naive to think so. Men/fathers (not all) would be pushing their sons and daughters into prostitution. Now think of the young men and women who are virgins, how would they feel being forced into a life of legalized prostitution by their own parents and governement because of short sighted policies. You know most if not all prostitutes are sexualy abused before being a porstitute, now you have society reinforcing that abuse. Does anyone have an inclination of how freaken sad that is!!? No it's about sexual abuse and the government and society condoning it. Let’s say your son or daughter is 14 and prostitution is legal. But you need permission just like any other job from your parents to let you work at such a young age. Now in the Governments eye’s its ok, it’s a job that collect revenue, they will have no problem with it. As the centuries go by the shock value of prostitution declines it will be socially acceptable, don’t believe me? Strippers are the perfect example of this.
